  • Overview

    The Restaurant Quality Assessor is responsible for ensuring Raising cane’s standards are being met all day, every day by our Restaurants and Crewmembers.  Assessements are conducted by Assessors for multiple reasons.  Assessments may be used to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, to limit risks to Crew, Customers, and Cane’s, to evaluate operations performance, or to support and inform SME initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Exemplary performance and integrity

    • Represent Raising Cane’s as the example Crewmember in and out of Restaurants

     

    Restaurant Performance Standards assessments and support

    • Measure the performance of all operational, safety, and sanitation requirements against a finely detailed set of evolving standards effectively and consistently
    • Support any and all adjustments to the systems and programs used to measure performance

    Scheduling

    • Prepare and adhere to a schedule of Restaurant visits with guidance from leadership

    Communication

    • Use all Company channels and mediums of communication effectively and efficiently in accordance with How We Do Business

    Calibration

    • Participate in calibrations with fellow Assessors and/or Supervisor on an ongoing basis to ensure alignment to the standards and consistency of assessment

    Project and Operations support

    • Understand the purpose, process, training, standards, and desired results of all Raising Cane’s programs and initiatives
    • Collaborate and/or support program and project implementations
    • During times of need, support in Restaurant Operations

    Training and Development

    • Participate in any ongoing training and development as necessary

    Food Safety Expert

    • Current on all food safety standards and /or have immediate access to all food safety standards

    Qualifications

    • College Degree preferred
    • For external hire, minimum of 2 years of quality assurance with a proven record of success required, preferably in the fast food or casual dining industry
    • For internal promotion, minimum of 2 years as an Operations Manager with Raising Cane’s. Must be in good company standing and have a proven record of performance
    • Experience in an organization where he/she had specific career progression
    • 1 to 3 years management experience in the hospitality field desirable
    • ServSafe (or similar) certification/qualification
