    Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® is seeking a Manager of Crew Development as we continue to Raise the Bar on how we grow our talent. This role will be based in our Plano RSO and primarily responsible for supporting key programs to onboard and develop our Crewmembers.

    Primary duties will include managing the onboarding process and execution for Business Unit and RSO Crewmembers, support of Raising Cane’s Management College, Managing Partner Candidate Program, and RSO Departmental Overviews. This role will also be responsible for the support of additional developmental programs as needs are identified.

    This position requires a strong professional presence, consultative and collaborative leadership, program management, and solid facilitation skills. The position will also have the opportunity to learn from and work across multiple functions at the RSO and the Raising Cane’s Business Unit Team.

    Program Management

    • Manages the execution of RCMC, Managing Partner Candidate Program, and other RSO-based training programs
    • Implements training and development coursework, programs, and systems
    • Collaborates with subject matter experts to collect content for training solutions
    • Continuously seeks out ways to make content more relevant based on the needs of the audience, and to align with current trends in the industry
    • Gathers and communicates program feedback to ensure content meets the objectives; provides recommendations for improvement based on feedback
    • Maintains and updates existing content
    • Maintains and organizes program details including agendas, attendee list and feedback for all sessions
    • Establishes solid routines and communication including pre-shift meetings and recap meetings, with all support partners for live sessions
    • Follows through to completion with delegated assignments
    • Maintains an ongoing curriculum and classroom schedule according to the needs of the organization

    Delivery of Training/Classroom Facilitation

    • Establishes and maintains a positive climate for learning through appropriate researched‐based classroom management strategies
    • Facilitates training classes, seminars, and working sessions
    • Works with other members of the Training team to ensure that training and communication is clear,effective and relevant
    • Plans, executes, evaluates and adjusts training delivery
    • Motivates Crew through effective communication and evaluative feedback
    • Displays a thorough knowledge of curriculum and subject matter
    • Demonstrates awareness of the needs of Crewmembers and provide for individual differences
    • Sets high expectations for Crew achievement and behavior

    RSO/Business Unit Team Onboarding Execution

    • Supports Hiring Manager with the Onboarding Plan process
    • Collaborates with Recruiting and other key partners to confirm offer to onboarding process details are complete
    • Confirms effective routines are in place for approval of onboarding plans and preparation for RSO Day One Onboarding
    • Facilitates Day One Onboarding
    • Reviews RSO and BUL onboarding plans in preparation for final approvals

    Secondary Responsibilities & Duties
    Logistics, Communication and Scheduling

    • Reports/Follows-up on feedback for all programs and initiatives
    • Supports with room setup for Training events in partnership with Office Services and Meetings and Events
    • Works with Department Coordinator to maintain proper inventory levels of swag associated with training sessions
    • Facilitates and updates BUL calendars with changes needed throughout onboarding and training


    Position / Role Requirements

    • Participation in meetings and training sessions at the RSO, Restaurants and off-site locations
    • Ability to lead, motivate, and empower the Cane’s Crew and Managers
    • Ability to align Crew with Cane’s culture by working hard and having fun
    • Strong time management skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with Crewmembers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Superior organization and follow-up skills
    • Serves as a role model by demonstrating and up holding Raising Cane’s policies and standards
    • Travel up to 10% to support training sessions off-site

    Qualifications, Experience & Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with certificate of study in the areas of Human Resources, training, and/or organizational development preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of classroom training facilitation required
    • Restaurant Training experience is highly desired
    • Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
    • Aptitude to do computer work on a daily basis, minimum of 4 hours per day
    • Aptitude to facilitate classroom training for 8 hours per day
    • Ability to work on a full‐time basis at the Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TX
    • Proven leadership experience required
    • Management of programs with medium to high complexity
    • Excellent stand‐up, classroom teaching skills required
    • Knowledge of Strategic Business Planning & Organizational Development
    • Knowledge of principles and methods for change management, curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and adult learners, and measurement of training results
