  • Overview

    The Safety & Security Analyst serves to support safety & security opportunities across the enterprise in support of Raising Cane’s mission, vision and values. In conjunction with the Sr Manager of Safety & Security and Safety & Security Manager, this individual will assist in the implementation and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate safety risks, maintain continuity of operations, and provide for the safety of Raising Cane’s Crewmembers and Customers. This includes the monitoring and supporting safety & security initiatives that will ensure our Crewmembers are working in a safe and secure environment as well as protects and preserves company assets and brand reputation.



    1. Support Restaurants & Restaurant Support Office Safety Function:  In conjunction with SR. Manager of Safety & Security and Safety & Security Manager, supports the company’s safety & security programs for both the Restaurants and Restaurant Support Offices (RSOs) that fulfills the mission and strategic goals of the organization while complying with state and federal laws.
    2. Partnership Interaction: Responsible for communicating with key vendors as business conditions warrant. Coordinates with select safety & security related vendors to ensure restaurants are supported in an efficient manger.
    3. Safety & Security Program: Supports safety & security programs to ensure the safety of Customers and Crewmembers across the enterprise (both for the Restaurants and RSOs). He/she will continually support the Risk Management program, policies, and procedures to ensure world-class safety for our Crewmembers and Customers on an on-going basis. Safety & Security responsibilities include:
      1. Support the day to day needs of restaurant operations by managing burglar alarm codes and call list updates.
      2. Troubleshoot burg/fire alarm problems, determine the best course of action for the operators and submit work orders as necessary.
      3. Review video as needed for WC/GL, critical incidents, alarm research, Law Enforcement and other miscellaneous request from management.
      4. Ensure submission and tracking/trending of CSU Safety Minutes and S.A.F.E. Audit content as needed by Management.
      5. Support the implementation of programs to Improve Safety and Security for enterprise. (10%)
      6. Complete regulatory compliance administrative tasks, such a Bureau of Labor annual survey, OSHA 300 Logs or other regulatory tasks related to safety & security. (5%)
      7. Work with RSO to support maintenance of crisis plans, first aid kits, AED’s, first responders, AED certification training & maintenance, security, etc.
      8. Conduct accident investigations as requested.
      9. Conduct internal investigations by taking proactive steps to successfully resolve investigations in a timely and efficient manner.
      10. Perform proactive data mining in support of safety, security and loss prevention initiatives



    • A safety & security experience in a high growth, results-oriented environment and a solid track record of successfully supporting enterprise programs
    • A minimum of (2) years of experience in a risk management field or equivalent
    • Strong work ethic and “hands on” approach
    • Exceptional interpersonal and soft skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Database experience involving research and reporting
    • Proficient in a variety of technology and RMIS systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT)
    • Ability and understanding to work with external safety and security systems (alarms, cameras, etc.)
    • Experience working in conflict and post-conflict situations with the ability to maintain confidential information
    • Travel as business needs require for the purposes of training, restaurant visits and attending meetings.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Will work out of the Dallas Restaurant Support Office located in Plano, TX
