Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® is seeking a Director of Field Recruiting to be based in our Plano, TX Restaurant Support Office. This role is primarily responsible for Operations recruiting support. This role will partner directly with Operations and key stakeholders to assess Restaurant staffing needs, lead the near term and long term Operations staffing strategy, deploy new systems/programs, and ensure that our new Restaurants are fully staffed. In addition, this position will serve as an ambassador for the brand in all markets, lead a large field-based team, deploy industry-leading recruiting programs, and develop positive recruiting practices which align with the brand identity, and fully align with Raising Cane’s mission, values and goals. The Director of Field Recruiting is responsible for the development of successful strategies and plans to achieve the Company goals & objectives with a focus on Restaurant Operations and Crew hiring.


   Field Recruitment Team Leadership:

  • Leads a team of Field Recruiting Managers in providing strategic direction for the development of execution plans for regional staffing efforts
  • Responsible for teaching, training and assisting the Regional Field Recruiting Managers in developing annual Talent Plans for each Business Unit (Restaurant, Area, Region), which will then be reviewed on a quarterly basis to measure progress and amended as needed
  • Leads the recruitment team involvement with the support services group including regular communications to ensure that the field recruiting team is aligned with all of the other support disciplines
  • Responsible for the hiring, training and development of all field based recruitment positions

   Partnering with Operations Leadership:

  • Cultivates strong relationships with regional leadership and support teams soliciting regular feedback on recruitment support efforts
  • Works closely with the Operations Leadership Team to provide feedback and help develop effective tools and resources for field recruiting efforts
  • Serves as the primary point of communication with the restaurant excellence team for any updates to the recruiting process or new rollouts for crewmember staffing

   Field Recruitment Strategy & Planning:

  • Develops long term national partnerships that will result in talent pipelines for operational leadership positions
  • Works closely with NRO and development teams to ensure recruitment team alignment with long term restaurant development plans
  • Builds Raising Cane’s employment brand by increasing our presence in our communities and establishing relationships with universities, networking organizations, community based organizations, workforce centers and vendors to provide a pipeline of qualified and talented candidates
  • Manages agency and third party recruiting relationships for all operations management positions
  • Develops the annual field recruiting budget, monitors expenditures and approves any major expenses

   Reporting & Analysis:

  • Provides field recruitment reporting to internal stakeholders; developing and managing recruiter dashboards to ensure the regional field recruiting team is meeting or exceeding performance standards
  • Establishes and maintains talent market expertise including comprehensive view of industry trends and competitor best practices


  • 5 – 10 years of recruitment experience, with 3 – 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Multi-unit Retail / Restaurant / Hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellence in organizational management
  • 5 years or restaurant industry experience, preferably in casual dining or quick service preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively at senior management level & prioritize workload
  • Strong work ethic and “hands on” approach
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical & decisive decision maker
  • Exceptional people & soft skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Proven track record of aggressive goal setting, converting plans into action and performance measurement
