  • Overview

    Restaurant Marketing is the implementation of the Raising Cane's brand and Marketing Strategy. At Cane's, Restaurant Marketing is executed through localized "Caniac" (Grass-Roots or Neighborhood) Marketing, Media & Public Relations, Sponsorships (paid partnerships with "for profit" organizations) and Active Community Involvement initiatives (paid & non-pad partnerships with "non-profit" organizations).


    The Restaurant Marketing Coordinator (RMC) will support the execution  of Restaurant & DMA level marketing plans that are aligned to brand standards and designed to achieve Business Unit goals. In addition to consistently driving Customer traffic, goals will include establishing a strong brand with clear market positioning to increase brand loyalty. The RMC will be responsible to for  supporting  the Marketing Advisors and Operators in planning and executing grass root marketing initiatives and measuring effectiveness.


    Build Brand Awareness and Drive Traffic

    • Sponsorships: assists in the execution of sponsorship assets including plans that maximize partnerships.
    • Media: Partners with Director Media Planning to ensure the correct strategy is deployed in each DMA, responsible for being engaged in the detailed plans by proactively communicating with Restaurants, following up on execution results and provides market insights to plans.
    • Active Community Involvement and Grass Roots Marketing: supports Operators in the execution of grass root marketing events.
    • Email Marketing: implement localized messaging to support DMA plans and compliment the national marketing calendar.
    • Creative Services: Partners with the Creative Services team to ensure brand standards are trained and reinforced.

     Restaurant Support

    • Direct Restaurant support: executes  CRS for NROs and as needed for  NIP Operators, Focus Restaurants and as directed by the Regional Director of Marketing.
    • Program Effectiveness: provide direct feedback to various teams on the effectiveness of RM programs and  initiatives.
    • Branding: Responsible for enforcing Raising Cane's brand standards
    • Maintains Budgets: supports the tracking and maintenance of a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs affecting the Restaurant level marketing spend; responsible for managing period financial results and marketing spend.

     Restaurant Growth

    • New Restaurant Openings: assists in the execution of GO week activity and post opening needs.
    • Competitive Blunting: supports the execution of competitive blunting plans.

     Administrative  Responsibilities

    • Budget/Invoice Reconciliation
    • Ordering: supports Restaurants and RM team by submitting creative requests, media & sponsorship support requests, ordering marketing collateral and promotional items as needed


    • Emerging knowledge of core marketing concepts and competencies
    • Operational mindset with solid interpersonal skills
    • Internally motivated and eager to support and learn

    Education (or equivalent experience)

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • 1-2 years marketing experience preferred
