Overview

The Restaurant Recruiting Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Restaurant Recruiting Team with candidate sourcing, candidate screening, interview scheduling, new Restaurant crew staffing, and processing advertising requests. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, successful at juggling multiple priorities simultaneously and possesses a strong internal customer / candidate focus.

 

The  Restaurant Recruiting Coordinator will also be responsible for developing and driving recruiting strategies to source, identify, attract and hire Restaurant Management talent into the organization. The position will report to the Director of Restaurant Recruiting and will work closely with many departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

Direct Support of the Restaurant Recruiting Team

  • Provide support for scheduling candidate interviews including coordinating available times, sending calendar invitations and handling travel logistics as well as communicating details with the hiring manager, candidate and Restaurant (for in-Restaurant or working interviews)
  • Prepare candidate details and interview feedback summaries for operational leaders
  • Post open positions on applicant tracking system, external job boards, and campus career sites
  • Provide administrative support to the Restaurant Recruiting team by managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Assist in researching crew wage rates and preparing new Restaurant opening crew recruitment strategies

Manage Candidate Communications

  • Respond to recruiting related inquiries from internal or external candidates on a variety of topics such as application status, recruiting process or scheduling related questions
  • Manage multiple candidate schedules to ensure interview days run smoothly. Act as point of contact for all candidates, recruiters and interviewers on interview days
  • Assist with processing of background checks, writing offer letters, preparing Request for Restaurant Training forms and providing candidate reminders to complete the selection or development assessment
  • Engage candidates through social media in accordance with Cane’s employment branding 
  • Manage candidate feedback and review process for improvement opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally

Project Based Support

  • Provide support to the Director of Restaurant Recruiting with special projects as needed
  • Key logistical contact for planning and execution of recruiting events on campuses or in other locations to support recruiting processes (e.g securing space, requesting marketing, sending materials, etc)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of prior recruiting or human resources experience preferred 
  • Exceptional customer service focus and commitment to producing detailed, high-quality results
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point 
  • Eligibility to lawfully work in the U.S. is required
