  • Overview

    The Restaurant Marketing Coordinator (RMC) supports the restaurants with in-restaurant and community marketing activities. He/She is responsible for assisting Marketing Advisors with the implementation, training, and execution of Field Marketing programs. The RMC’s underlying purpose is to foster continued sales growth and community involvement throughout the company, specifically in Cane’s developed regions.  It is essential that the RMC always portray Cane’s Culture and values to the community.

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Restaurant Support:  Supports the marketing department of a specific region in the roll-out of company, region-wide and area-wide restaurant marketing programs. Assists in the development of systems and programs for local restaurant marketing so that the most effective support and training is provided to the restaurant. Gathers successful and innovative marketing program ideas and works with restaurant management on program set-up and rollout
    2. Execution of Marketing Initiatives: Assists Marketing Advisors in coordinating market-wide or multi-restaurant event opportunities; ensures successful execution of marketing events and/or major market event sponsorships
    3. Restaurant Visits:  Attends restaurant visits with Marketing Advisor to fully understand the Field Marketing relationship with Operations
    4. New Restaurant Openings (NRO’s):  Collaborates in the development and implementation of NRO programs.  Attends grand opening events and assists the Marketing Department as needed in grand opening execution
    5. Local Marketing Program Development:  Assists in the development of local marketing programs to be rolled out to the field.  This includes assisting in the developing program ideas, managing cross-department collaborations teams, developing rollout materials, and sharing best practices with the field
    6. Analysis, Reporting and Recommendation: Partners with Marketing Department to provide insight into market-wide and Restaurant-level marketing activity and sales trends following an event/sponsorship. The FMA further provides analysis into how sales have been affected by said activity and overall restaurant performance and makes recommendations
    7. Supports Execution of Major Sponsorships: Works with Marketing Department to ensure complete execution and maximization of sponsorships
    8. Email Marketing: Coordinates market wide Caniac Club loyalty mailings.  Maintains Raising Cane’s participation with the Caniac Club program by coordinating registration of new restaurant openings and reviews performance of market wide initiatives
    9. Follows Budget:  Responsible for tracking and managing a pre-determined budget for all projects and above mentioned areas of focus. Present opportunities, in the form of a detailed project plan, when marketing opportunities arise that are outside of our budget specifications or exceed pre-determined budget with senior management
    10. General Duties:  Assists with overall marketing department goal planning, strategy and strategic initiatives and calendar planning.  Assists Marketing Advisor with invoicing, check requests, cost benefit analysis and additional administration work as needed

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • 1-3 years of Marketing experience required
    • Restaurant experience preferred
    • Knowledge of general marketing concepts preferred
    • Event planning experience preferred
    • Knowledge and experience working with media and sponsorships preferred
